To visit the GTmetrix go to their home page and then enter your site URL.
After you enter your site URL in this field, click the ‘Test you site’ button.
Once your site test is completed, you will receive the latest performance report for: yoursite.com.
As you can see, here is the summary: your site name, then the date, server location, the browser you are using for the GTmetrix test.
Down below, GTmetrix Grade details about your site.
GTmetrix Grade combines the speed of your page (in terms of loading, interactivity, and visual stability) with optimal performance.
This grade (score) better reflects your overall experience of the web page as it takes into account both the structure of your interface and the actual performance the user is experiencing.
The GTmetrix score is a weighted average of two new percentage-based points, namely:
- Performance Score (70%)
- Structure Score (30%)
Now talk about Web Vitals, Google has set Web Vitals as the top metrics you should focus on in order to enjoy fast website engagement.
These metrics include:
- Largest Content Paint (LCP)
How long it took to display the largest content item.
